Are You Creating Your Own Bad Luck?

Expectations are everything.  Including and maybe especially when it comes to Luck.  As they say you earn every ounce of luck you get by what you do and what you think, and all of that begins with what you expect.

There is bad luck happening everywhere, every single day.  Some doctors let that paralyze them in fear or keep them timid so they never even try.  Others play right into the bad luck themes of the day, trends of the industry or news of the economy.

Then there are the doctors like you who spit in the face of the village witch, the naysayers and the fear mongers as you proclaim your own plot in life by going against industry norms and the status quo.

Math is not complicated.  You can do the numbers same as I can.  The problem is (and it’s a good problem), it’s about way more than just numbers.

It’s about the people.  The feeling, emotion, desire of your patients to want to get healthy, to have beautiful smiles, for their mouths to function in the way it was made to work and intended to be used.

I hear it all the time…

”We just can’t get those big cases anymore”

“It’s not like the glory days before the crash”

“No one has any money”

or the worst one, “Insurance has just taken over”
