By Force or By Choice – Change is Comin’

Is your practice at the mercy of the direction the wind blows in the industry?

Are you succumbing to the forces that push you down a path you don’t really want to go?

Have you ended up short of what you know you deserve and believe is possible?

For most Dentists, possibly you, they are living beneath the standard of what they initially set out to accomplish in their practices both with the dentistry they do most and with the money they earn while doing it.

Those two things are of course linked directly together.

I usually ask my doctors what percentage of your clinical time are you doing what you love and are passionate about?

Sometimes that answer is I love it all or sometimes that answer is I hate to even think about it. Because they are doing so little of really what moves them and drives them to work every day.

All of this can be controlled.  It can be changed.  It can be the way you want it to be if you choose to be proactive with your practice structure and reality.

I call this Your Lifestyle Practice Manifesto.

Because it is about how the Practice fits into your life, not how your life fits into the Practice.

And during my recent Advanced Training Webinar, I walked through the five core pillars of what it takes to achieve a Practice BY CHOICE, a Practice ON YOUR TERMS, and a Practice that fits into your life and acts as vehicle for all of the other people, places and things that are important to you that motivate you to keep going and growing.

If you really search out the commonalities of my best Doctors who have truly mastered the Lifestyle Practice Manifesto and live the epitome of each of the Pillars, you will find that they did it absolutely in one way…

DELIBERATELY

They proactively set out to achieve something specific in each area and with every pillar.  They didn’t wait to be reactive to only fix something when it’s already broken, to wait around until the going gets tough or to sit all fat and happy (lazily) reaping the fruits of the labor in boom times to then turn around and complain when things aren’t so easy.  No, they spit in the face of complacency.

They, like you, have a fire in their bellies for WHAT IS POSSIBLE not just what can be done easily. They, like you, are hungry to see how far they can push the limits of a real Lifestyle Practice by working less and still making more, by maximizing profit, by rewarding in a life-changing way their Team with income opportunities, by invigorating patients with a culture of excellence and an environment of education to receive life changing dentistry.

It’s simple.  By force or by choice – change will happen.

Will you take control?

Will you decisively act?

Will you challenge yourself to want and be more?

There is nothing I want for you more than a Practice that serves you in all ways.  It’s not going to happen without you making it happen. But, you don’t have to do it alone and honestly – you can’t.  No one doctor could.

You can achieve it through leverage and through a proven, reliable formula, which is exactly what I laid out in my Lifestyle Practice Manifesto Training.

Rest assured, this is not a cookie-cutter formula or one-size-fits-all for every practice.  Instead, it is a customizable approach to redefine and develop each and every part of your practice, your lifestyle pillars, so that it matches and aligns with exactly what you want.

To get more, you must become more; that is the only way.  And I’ve made that possible as your guide through creating and defining your own Lifestyle Practice Manifesto here…
