Taking Time To Celebrate … And Review Your Progress & Renew Your Goals NOW

Today I would like to see you commit to, in the next 5-7 days, having everyone go through four things.

1st – let’s write down everything that is going well, things that have been successful, reasons to celebrate…”Good jobs! So far this year”

2nd – have each team member identify something they believe they have improved upon this year (this teaches people to focus on the positive and to build their confidence which is the key to better and greater and more consistent performance…I doubt they are getting enough positive affirmation)

3rd – have each team member identify something they believe to be their next biggest breakthrough…remember last week, that question about “your contribution TODAY” well this is a broader focus, yet it still should be driven around daily patient by patient performance and execution.

What is the one thing over all others that I should be focused on improving that will make the biggest difference in my performance and contribution to accomplish the goals of our practice?

Then they must apply some tangible quantitative result that can be tracked related to this goal. Qualitative is fine too, but that is always subjective, so just make sure there is some metric or obvious ‘outcome’ that illustrates their success.

Next you are going to share all of these around the room as a group…every Team Member AND the DOCTOR, every single Doctor – everyone participates.

After this you move on to #4:

You are going to identify the goals the Practice has for the remaining months of the year. Basically repeat #1, #2, #3 as an entire Team and Practice Organization and then establish specific goals for the rest of 2015.

This is very important.

We call it review your progress and renew your goals.

The reality is the more often you do it, the more progress you will have, the more goals you will reach, achieve, and exceed.

Right now you have 3 months left, it should be a blitz, an aggressive pursuit and daily assertive focus and each Team Member must be dialed in.

Try this, you should find it very powerful. And please don’t skip any steps.
