WHO is setting Your Compass?

“Success” carries all kinds of definitions. You know this. Every Dentist has completely different goals, life, circumstances, and especially Practices.
This is why I detest when people out there try to force upon you their own agendas; telling you what your goals should be. DON’T FALL VICTIM to the misleading ways of someone who feeds off of your insecurity or tries to manipulate YOUR definition of success.

I’m telling you right now – the most important thing you can ever do in your life is –
SET YOUR OWN COMPASS and know what success is, looks like, feels like, tastes like, smells like, sounds like to YOU and no one else.

Here, let me help you.

Right now – if I were to ask you this question how would you answer…

“What do you want MORE of in your life?”

seems easy right, go ahead and give it a try…

more time off
more money in the bank
more exercise
more travel
more patients
more comprehensive dentistry
more time with your family
more mission work
more philanthropy
more – fill in the blank
How about this one…

“What do you want LESS of in your life?”

less patients
less drill and fill dentistry
less team members
less hours working
less debt
less stress
less wasted chair side time
less after hours work
less unhealthy food
less complaints from your spouse for FILL IN THE BLANK
less – WHATEVER ruins your peace of mind and quality of life
Now. These are very basic examples of helping you to define how “success” should be evolving in your life.

The bottom line is: YOU SET THE COMPASS and DETERMINE the DEFINITION, TARGET, GOAL, OUTCOME of what Success is for you.

If you don’t, then you will be at the mercy of everyone else’s definition for you.

Shall I say that again. I think so.

IF YOU DO NOT DEFINE SUCCESS FOR YOURSELF; Someone else will force their definition for you, their own agenda on to yours and into your life and practice.

Here’s the idea that I believe in, that every Dentist I work with and help, guide, implement, grow their Practice through my customized transformation and individualized lifestyle blueprint process…

You live principled centered. You must also practice principle centered.

And you get to be the judge. Good news bad news, the good news is you are in control of you…the bad news is that eliminates every excuse you have, are, or will ever use.

When you take ownership over your definition of success…magic happens.

Are you ready?! Here’s where the biggest breakthrough in your life + practice comes in allowing you to realize and fulfill the definition of success that you have.

It is when you understand just like success in life is different for every Dentist, the path to getting there in your practice is different for every Dentist also.

There are in fact 8 specific and dramatically different WAYS to “grow” your Practice. And “growth” is such an arbitrary term, much like “success”. You get to determine what growth you actually want.

Over the next few weeks I’m going to take you on an in-depth look at these 8 ways to grow your Dental Practice so that you will have all options on the table, all items available on the menu, and you will literally get to pick your own approach to growth.

You see, you WANT MORE and WANT LESS, list of things you wrote out and talked through in your mind…it’s all possible, every single one of them, it is however going to require you to LOOK AT and actually SEE your Practice differently.

It’s going to require you to THINK ABOUT Dentistry and the business of dentistry DIFFERENTLY and you will, I promise, breathe a deep sigh of relief, smile with pleasure, and gain confidence, certainty, and peace of mind about the future for your vision and finally enjoy living out the Practice of YOUR DREAMS and of your own definition.

It’s going to be an extraordinary dialogue we will have. As always I, and no one else …and I mean no one… is going to give it to you straight, talk TRUTH about making money in dentistry ON YOUR OWN TERMS, give you the reality of building the practice you have always envisions and making sure you are following your mission, purpose, and passion to your chosen concept of success.

Here’s what you already know and what I will remind you about right now.

You’re different. I’m different. We aren’t like the others and we are here together to make extraordinary things happen in your life because you deserve them, every single item on your two lists you created today can be yours as long as you are committed to achieving them and not just talking about them.

YOUR GOALS are my goals, I want what you want and that is how I want you to judge me…did YOU get what you wanted out of this relationship, that is ultimately all that matters, exactly like your Patients.

Of course, the biggest variable in this deal – is You.

Prepare for myths to be debunked, for your eyes to be wide open, and for your mind to go through a life-changing practice-altering paradigm shift of all the ways you will experience HEALTHY GROWTH in your Practice that matches the degree and type of success you are ready to receive.

Have a great weekend.
