I sure hope this finds you more thankful than ever, after spending Thanksgiving with your family and having a chance to reflect on all that you have and all that you are.<\/p>\n

Before I tell you about this week\u2019s very special and important message \u2013 I have something for you that you might have missed, since it is Black Friday and all.\u00a0 You can save your money because I have nothing to sell you, I do want to give you something though that will make sure you have unlimited money and opportunity in your life.\u00a0 It may not help you for the things you are going to go out and buy today, but it will darn sure help you from this point forward!<\/p>\n

I have always felt the way to express the greatest amount of gratitude is to do something with yourself, make a difference for others, to have ambition and strive for more.\u00a0 To be grateful, you must be plentiful with your impact \u2013 that\u2019s the point.<\/p>\n

It would seem that the way to honor your skills, your experience, your sacrifices even and, perhaps especially, God, is to maximize everything you possibly can for the benefit of others.<\/p>\n

In Dentistry, that means don\u2019t be a slouch to only fixing problems in your patients and not ever working towards prevention.<\/p>\n

Don\u2019t short change people of having a beautiful smile and feeling great about themselves.<\/p>\n

Pursue complete health and show patients the benefits of all you can do.<\/p>\n

Don\u2019t just employ your team, empower them.\u00a0 Make a difference in all the people around you, not just the ones with your hand in their mouths.<\/p>\n

This means that you can\u2019t succumb to insurance and let your impact be so careless.\u00a0 This means your mission can\u2019t blow around like a feather in the wind and your purpose left wandering around with a broken compass.<\/p>\n

You owe it to yourself to take this thing seriously.\u00a0 Not just dentistry; I\u2019m talking about your business.<\/p>\n

You are a business owner.\u00a0 Being thankful for the vehicle you\u2019ve chosen as a profession, as your livelihood, but don\u2019t stop there.\u00a0 You have the power to make this thing whatever you want.<\/p>\n

You have the opportunity to be thankful for more because you can be a creator of more.\u00a0 You are the Master, the Captain, the Leader, the one who gets to decide.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s not enough to just want it \u2013 you have to commit to it \u2013 and you have to have a plan of action.\u00a0 Wishing it won\u2019t work.\u00a0 Hoping for change isn\u2019t a strategy.\u00a0 Being thankful is important but it\u2019s also about the past \u2013 it doesn\u2019t guarantee anything about the future.<\/p>\n

On this Black Friday, when every store on earth is vying for as many dollars as they can get from every single person\u2026<\/p>\n

I am asking you to give yourself permission to want more.\u00a0 More success.\u00a0 More freedom.\u00a0 More dentistry you love.\u00a0 More commitment from your team.\u00a0 More patients who appreciate.\u00a0 More time for you.\u00a0 More abundance, more profit, more wealth, more memories with your family\u2026 More things to give thanks for, next year.<\/p>\n
