I just love the entrepreneurial dentist. \u00a0I describe these doctors as ones with a real identity as a clinician plus the pride of ownership over their vision. \u00a0It means not just being your own boss but being in charge of your own destiny. \u00a0The entrepreneurial dentist practices dentistry by design.<\/p>\n
I have fought hard to take on and destroy the status quo and the \u201cindustry norms\u201d inside of dentistry because I saw the entrepreneurial dentist getting shut out, manipulated and controlled by others. \u00a0Over time these doctors have lost sight of what it means to be an entrepreneur business owner, not just someone with a job.<\/p>\n
There is nothing more rewarding for me than to help bring a doctor back to (or discovering for the first time), what it means to be an entrepreneurial dentist.<\/p>\n
As with most industries, the average expectations and the \u201cthat\u2019s just how things are done around here\u201d become the barriers that hold so many back from reaching their potential.<\/p>\n
You accept insurance because you think everyone else does. \u00a0You lower prices because you are competing with the new corporate practice down the street. \u00a0You\u2019ve been afraid of and bashful about \u2018selling\u2019 because you\u2019ve been told you shouldn\u2019t.<\/p>\n
And the worst part of all is that you\u2019ve been told to just take what you can get. \u00a0All you can do is hang your shingle, put up your name and let the patients come in with their problems.<\/p>\n
This is what we call doing dentistry by accident. \u00a0Which inherently means you have no possible way to predict, plan, create, control or improve the outcomes you want. \u00a0That is no way to run a business.<\/p>\n
Through my long-term success with a vast variety of different types of businesses, professional practices, healthcare professionals and entrepreneurs of all shapes and sizes, I have been able to scientifically reverse engineer the growth of business to make smart, methodical and specific decisions that allow strategies and systems to bring certainty to outcomes.<\/p>\n

We are going to take these self-imposed limitations that every doctor suffers from at some point, and restore your practice to the state of entrepreneurial integrity that you deserve.<\/p>\n
You are a creator, you are in control, you are everything you decide you want to become. \u00a0Your practice is and will always be only as great as the mindset and ambition of the entrepreneur who is leading it.<\/p>\n
And that is something very special for those who embrace their journey and their right to becoming the best entrepreneurial dentist they can be.<\/p>\n
As we move forward with this special series, it\u2019s important that I remind you now, that your practice is delivering to you exactly what it is built to deliver. \u00a0Your practice will never be better than the business foundation it is built upon.<\/p>\n
That\u2019s why we must, if you want all that is truly possible, go to work on the business side of dentistry. \u00a0With that comes your uniqueness and your strength as an entrepreneurial dentist that makes all of this more meaningful than just being another dentist on the block. \u00a0You can\u2019t afford to be a statistic in the common denominator of \u201caverage\u201d in this industry.<\/p>\n
