As the year comes to a close and a new one begins, I bring your attention to the work of great significance you have been doing throughout your career. \u00a0Every day you wake up with the lives of others in your hands and you continue to strive, improve and educate yourself to greater levels of success.<\/p>\n

I have the great privilege of serving my Doctors and helping them reach new heights in accomplishment, meaning, fulfillment, prosperity and independence that they never thought possible.<\/p>\n

Often, I remind each of them that the hard part is what you do in the mouths of your patients\u2026 not all the \u2018stuff\u2019 going on around it. \u00a0Business is not that complicated. \u00a0However, as long as you are flying by the seat of your pants, making decisions at random (or not making decisions) and just letting things happen without a deliberate plan of action, then you can be certain of three things\u2026<\/p>\n

1. You are working far harder (with no assurance of success) than you really need to be.<\/p>\n

2. You still don\u2019t really know what\u2019s possible and you don\u2019t really know what you are capable of; you only know what you know. \u00a0Otherwise, you\u2019d be doing things differently, better and more profitable with a lot less effort, compromise and sacrifice.<\/p>\n

3. You absolutely and most certainly aren\u2019t paid what you are truly worth and there is no way your skills are fully utilized in life-changing ways on a routine, daily, patient by patient basis.<\/p>\n

I\u2019ve yet to meet any doctor who said to me they wouldn\u2019t like more of these 3 things (assurance of success while working Less and making more; being paid what they are worth while using their skills; and fully realizing the potential they know, or don\u2019t know, they have).<\/p>\n

Fear of failure, fear of success, fear of uncertainty, fear of truth. \u00a0All these negative voices in your head are actually self-fulfilling prophecies. \u00a0You get what you expect; which also means your reality reaffirms your expectations yielding an ever-darkening spiral. \u00a0You keep waiting for the outcomes to change to give you confidence in changing the inputs.<\/p>\n

Today, as we are about enter into 2019, I ask you to banish fear and instead\u2026<\/p>\n

Protect your thoughts.<\/p>\n

Protect your self.<\/p>\n

Protect your ambitions.<\/p>\n

Protect your abilities.<\/p>\n

Protect your confidence.<\/p>\n

That means being willing to go all in before you see the cards. \u00a0You must believe in your greatest gift and service to society. \u00a0You must believe you already have the fortitude and the tenacity to achieve.<\/p>\n

Here\u2019s what I know about success: no one earns more than they actually, truly deserve through their commitment, devotion and dedication to their purpose. \u00a0Whatever you are getting in your life right now \u2013 in this past year of 2018 \u2013 is what your life and practice have been set up to be.<\/p>\n

You can continue as you are going through the motions or you can choose more, better, differently.<\/p>\n

To want more.<\/p>\n

To be better.<\/p>\n

To act differently.<\/p>\n

With a new year comes exciting times, a clean slate, a renewed focus and refreshed opportunity that is your gift to yourself that you can decide \u2013 ONE DAY AT A TIME \u2013 to squander, to waste or to use it to make something happen for yourself and to make this year count like never before.<\/p>\n

And there in lies your greatest risk as to whether your tendency will be to settle with \u2018more of the same\u2019 while working harder and harder to get nowhere; or\u2026<\/p>\n

If you will double down on your goals, step up to your bigger purpose, and fight the good fight to leverage the investment in yourself.<\/p>\n

The good news is: you deserve exactly what you make happen; nothing more and nothing less.<\/p>\n

In 2019, your success will be in direct proportion to the belief in your ability, the clarity of your vision, the leverage of your time, and certainty of your plan.<\/p>\n

I want the best for you. \u00a0The question is: is your \u2018best\u2019 today all that it is capable of being? \u00a0If not, I challenge you to go forward into 2019, without fear\u2019s restraints, and believe in what you can achieve.<\/p>\n
