Time is the one thing we all have in common. Every successful person, every human being alive today, gets the exact same 24 hours.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The difference is never the <em>time<\/em> they have. It\u2019s <em>what they do with it.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The real focus shouldn\u2019t be on managing time. It\u2019s about managing <strong>what goes into the time.<\/strong> It\u2019s about energy. It\u2019s about priorities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It\u2019s about having a <strong>success system<\/strong> based around a structure for what goes <em>into<\/em> the time. It\u2019s about maximizing VALUE, not minutes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The greatest difference between failure and success, between busyness and effectiveness, comes down to the<strong> 3 D\u2019s\u2026 Discernment, Discipline, and Determination.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>These three key principles separate doctors who merely <em>work hard<\/em> from those who <em>win big.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>The Three D\u2019s\u2026<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Every result you want in life (whether it\u2019s production, freedom, wealth, or happiness), comes back to the <em>quality<\/em> of your decisions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Discernment is how you decide what\u2019s worthy of your time.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Discipline is how you follow through.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Determination is how you stay committed until you get the result.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>That\u2019s it. The \u201c3D\u201d formula that determines success or failure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>You Can Have It All, Just Not All At Once<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>I tell my doctors this all the time: <strong>you can have it all in your life, you just can\u2019t have it all at once.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you try to cram everything in, nothing gets the focus or energy it deserves. The most significant things (the ones that move the needle), require the most energy, effort, and time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But what happens? The \u201ceasy stuff\u201d creeps in. It fills the cracks. The little things crowd out the big ones.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>That\u2019s where discernment comes in. You have to decide what goes in, what gets left out, what comes first, and what can wait.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>What You Focus <em>On<\/em> Matters Most<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>There\u2019s a big difference between being <em>busy<\/em> and being <em>productive.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Some people look successful because they\u2019re constantly in motion \u2013 doing, reacting, responding \u2013 but they\u2019re not actually getting anywhere. They\u2019re efficient at a low level.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Success isn\u2019t about doing more. It\u2019s about doing the <em>right<\/em> things at a higher level.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you were to take a time inventory of your life, it would be obvious where you could swap some things out, where you could elevate value, where you could shift from busyness to effectiveness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>That\u2019s where true productivity begins. It\u2019s not by adding more to your plate, but by investing your energy into what matters most.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Re-Imagining the 80\/20 Rule<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Everyone knows the 80\/20 rule. But I want to take it a step further.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Eighty percent of your life is spent on the things that make the top 20 percent possible. But without focusing intentionally on that top 20 percent, the 80 percent will always stay watered down.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>So ask yourself:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Is the 80 percent driving the 20?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Or is the 20 percent driving the 80?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>When you invert that equation, everything changes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In my Wealth Groups, I teach doctors to do the same with money. Don\u2019t just give away 10 percent \u2013 invest it. Don\u2019t just save 10 percent \u2013 multiply it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Aim for 50\/50: half of your effort for today, half for the future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Eventually, the goal is to make 70 percent of your energy go toward wealth creation and only 30 percent toward maintenance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>So, how can you get to 50 percent of your time invested in the top 20 percent of your life? To do that, you must first define what the top 20 percent actually <em>is.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>The 1% Advantage<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Let\u2019s go even deeper. What\u2019s the top 5 percent? The top 1 percent?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you can identify the highest-value 1 percent of your life (the activity, decision, or responsibility that drives everything else), and you invest more of your time there, the results compound.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It\u2019s not about the <em>percentage of time.<\/em> It\u2019s about the <em>value of execution.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Redefine Success on Your Terms<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>At the end of the day, the 3 D\u2019s (Discernment, Discipline, and Determination) are what separate those who survive from those who thrive.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>They\u2019re what move you from busyness to effectiveness, from motion to momentum, from distraction to destiny.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>So go back to your schedule, your priorities, your life. Do the time inventory. Redefine what belongs where. And then, every single day, live by your <strong>3D Keys to Success:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Discernment<\/strong> \u2014 choose wisely.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Discipline<\/strong> \u2014 follow through.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Determination<\/strong> \u2014 never quit.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>That\u2019s how you turn time into results and success into a system.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I\u2019m excited to share with you TWO of the most overused words of all time: Time Management.
