A Halloween Message About What Really Drives Your Success
As we come up on the crazy holiday called Halloween, I wanted to bring you a Weekly Report about something that’s often overlooked, yet determines everything.
We can have all the strategies, all the systems, all the procedures, all the team, all the patients. We can have everything laid out in front of us…
But there’s one thing above all else that will determine your level of success.
It’s your mindset.
Because what most people don’t realize is: you don’t need to put on a costume to be a superhero.
You already are one.
You Have Power Inside of You
Every day, you are a person of power, of prosperity, of influence. And yes, hopefully of peace of mind.
That power comes from inside of you and it flows through a filter: your thoughts, your beliefs, your self-perception.
Think of it like a beam of light passing through a prism. If your mindset isn’t strong (if it’s not healthy, validating, reinforcing) that beam gets distorted and diminished.
Your internal power weakens before it ever sees the light of day.
So, let’s talk about what gets in the way and ensure your force is at full strength.
The 3 Mindset Killers: Fear, Doubt, and Guilt
One of my mentors taught me two powerful truths:
- You are a self-fulfilling prophecy. What you believe becomes real.
- Fear is False Evidence Appearing Real.
Let that sink in. Fear is almost always about things that haven’t happened or things that happened in the past and don’t have to repeat.
So let’s break this down…
1. Fear
Fear is rooted in false beliefs. It’s worry about the future or pain from the past. But either way – it’s not real.
You’ve got to replace fear with faith. Yes, faith in yourself. That no matter what happens, you’ll rise to meet it. That you’re capable of shaping the outcome. Because you are.
2. Doubt
You’ve got to stop second-guessing yourself.
Self-limiting beliefs, insecurity, the constant “what-ifs.” That mental spiral of worst-case scenarios? It’s a trap.
Instead of asking, “What if this goes wrong?” Start asking, “What if this goes right?”
This is the mental pivot that changes everything.
3. Guilt
Stop worrying about what other people think. Stop letting outside opinions control your choices.
The only voice that matters is the one aligned with your own convictions. If you want to win this game, you’ve got to stop outsourcing your confidence.
Reprogram Your Superstitions
Let’s bring it back to Halloween.
Like a magic spell activated by chants; your internal powers are activated by: desire.
That’s the magic. That’s the driver.
Forget your old superstitions that sabotage your effort. It’s all based on the questions you ask yourself…
Not “what if it doesn’t work.” Not “what will people think.” Not “what happened before.”
Just: What do I want and desire?
And: What am I willing to do to make it happen?
It’s as simple as that because you are the difference-maker. You are the catalyst.
If success is a recipe for a witch’s potion, you’re the most important ingredient.
Use Your Imagination
Let’s talk imagination because here’s something most people forget: There are no limits to your imagination. That’s good new and bad news.
Your imagination acts like a wizard’s wand – the outcomes it produces is only limited by the imagination of the one who is in charge. The question is: What direction is it pointing?
You can imagine the worst-case scenario. Or you can imagine the best.
You can visualize the chaos. Or you can visualize your ideal.
The truth about all of these superpowers, magic tricks, and success recipes… they are powered by your belief.
Your belief in yourself. Your belief in what’s possible. Your belief in what you deserve.
Take a few minutes today and reflect:
- What fears do you need to remove?
- What self-doubts do you need to limit?
- What guilt do you need to overcome?
Now, activate your imagination and ask yourself: What am I willing to do to make it real?
Because that’s the spark, that’s the magic, and it’s already inside of you.
