Mastering the Full Patient Perspective

If you missed last week’s Huddle, you really better go back and read it. In it, I explained the single most detrimental behavior that Dentists (yes, most likely you), have that sabotages their success. You probably don’t even realize it and you may not even believe me, but it’s true, 100%. It would never seem like a bad thing until you take a step back and look at it and realize just how much of a disservice you do to yourself, your team, and your patients…trying to do too much by carrying the weight of production creation on your shoulders.

I shared with you three of the most powerful and specific daily strategies to engage in, for your entire team, patient by patient, visit by visit.

Those three, I elaborated on last week were:

Always ask more questions

Be sure to take more pictures

And to have a specific educational focus

They seem so simple and yet they will quadruple your daily diagnosis. No matter how good you think you are now, no matter how thorough or masterful clinically you profess to be, these will empower your team to carry the load, create the opportunity and elevate your patient experience to new levels of excellence, completeness, differentiation, and ultimately follow-through on treatment and case acceptance.

I promised some specific activities to help you practice with your team and the best ways to use these three strategies to enhance your cohesiveness as a team.

We call it practicing “The Full Patient Perspective”

The most important way to do this is to first be willing to take a look at EVERY SINGLE INTERACTION a PATIENT has with YOU and Your Practice – from their point of view. I’ve talked about this many times before.

Today, I’d like you to commit to practicing…

Here are 5 things you can do to ensure everyone on your Team embraces the Full Patient Perspective.

1 – Play Patient with Each other

2 – Invite your Family to visit and then ask for candid feedback

3 – Record new patient visits from start to finish

4 – Have someone play Mystery Patient at random and provide feedback

5 – Role Play, role play, role play with each other and practice the three strategies together: how to ask more questions, how to incorporate more pictures, how to bring up educational topics or focuses.

GOOD NEWS: recently I recorded a very special, extremely hard hitting and candid interview with a good friend of mine, who is one of the leading implant experts in the world and has helped more doctors implement implants into their practice than anyone else.

He asked me very tough questions and had me present the concept of:

HOW TO MASTER THE FULL PATIENT PERSPECTIVE

And it would be an amazing training and teaching tool for you and your team to listen to. I’d be happy to send you a complimentary copy at my expense since you are a subscriber and reader of my work and teachings.

In addition to that, if you are one of the first 20 I will include a private strategy call and custom profit blueprint for you where I talk you through your specific implementation strategy and answer any questions you have.

This is rare opportunity for you. I’d grab it up, right now.

Here’s the reality, you can never hone your skills enough, you can never perfect your methods and patient interaction enough, and above all else, you are only going to be as good as your team is capable. Help them improve, build up their confidence, and get more effective with their patient communication.

Next week, I’m going to share with you the single greatest way to dramatically increase your comprehensive case acceptance. Think your patients won’t buy big cases, full treatment plans, think they just want to step their way through it instead of go all in…think again.

There is a harsh reality to this and then there is a controversial secret that will change the way you look at THE FULL PATIENT PERSPECTIVE and the way they look at you and dentistry in general.

Get ready. Practice up. Next week it gets crazy.

Grab ahold of the opportunity I’ve presented you with today…right now.
