Now, How About Trying a Winning Business Strategy

This week, I provided one of the most advanced and strategic growth and patient attraction trainings I have ever delivered. The feedback has been incredible. Thank you.

If you missed it, you can access the replay below. But only go there if you really want to take it seriously, if you want to study the presentation, and embrace the 7 elements of differentiation.

I’m going to be blunt…

Every day doctors complain to me about insurance and about the rise of discount and corporate dentistry but then I ask what they are doing about it and they do not have an answer.

Or at best, they say they are trying to generate more new patients at whatever costs and sacrifices (in other words: discounting and accepting lower quality patients).

This is not a winning business strategy.

Signing up for all the PPOs is not a winning business strategy.
Competing on the lowest terms is not a winning business strategy.

However, the 7 Elements of Differentiation are all winning strategies. Each represent an effective way to take control of the things that matter in your practice…

Patients. Perception. Profits.

The good news is this: if you really are serious about being different, getting off the high volume treadmill and restoring the integrity of comprehensive and complete treatment planning and care, then your patients will reward you with loyalty, investment and referrals.

After you have seen as many practices as I have, you know that success is not going to happen on accident. There are no random acts of dentistry that are going to bring you sustainable (and that is a key word by the way) and consistent results both in growth and more importantly, in profit.

The opposite of accidental is deliberate and that is the type of differentiation you must have in today’s world of dentistry.

Of course, right now there are so many things changing… the election… obamacare… corporate dentistry… these implant practices that are popping up blitzing the market with ads and taking cities by storm.

You have to be proactive, strategic and even aggressive. You must be playing on the offense, it’s the only way. When you do, you take control and you put yourself in a position to win.

I challenge you to take each of the 7 elements and do a hard, honest assessment of yourself, your team and your practice through the eyes of the patients and see where you stack up and what you can improve.

When you have differentiation like this, it will make all the difference!

Since I’m giving you homework, I’ll keep this week’s Profit Report brief and give you one more chance to achieve ultimate differentiation with the 7-element formula. Next week, I’ll be back with some important industry updates and vital news to get you ready for the post-election fallout; plus a look ahead at the state of insurance in 2017 and what its going to mean to your practice, no matter who wins the election.
